VISION:
The vision of the department is to develop the department as a center for academic excellence through teaching and learning of the discipline of History.
MISSION:
The mission of the department is to inculcate a strong desire to learn and use History for all personal and professional use.
To impart academic knowledge, employability skills, as well as strong ethical values through the Discipline of History to encourage the students to read History and Historical texts.
To employ innovative techniques and provide additional inputs as per the ever changing requirements of the job market.
To encourage the students to write something on their own in History Discipline in language of English.
